Grandvalira is located in the north-east of the Principality of Andorra, in the parishes of Encamp and Canillo.
It is the largest skiable area in Southern Europe: There are 205 km of slopes, 67 lifts, 110 slopes with different difficulty levels, 5 snow parks (1 night-time), 3 competition stages (2 validated by the FIS), 1 permanent boarder cross, 2 children’s circuits, 6 ski gardens, 4 nurseries, 40 cafés and restaurants, 450 instructors and 14 car parks with direct access to the resort, located along the road Carretera General 2, between Encamp and Pas de la Casa.
In addition, the Grandvalira Reservations Centre offers you the chance to book accommodation, ski classes and all resort activities.
Grandvalira, part of the Ski World Cup Circuit
Over the 2011-2012 season, the Soldeu (Avet slope) and Grau Roig (Antenes slope) sectors will host two races of the World Ski Cup: The Ladies Alpine Ski World Cup from 10th to 12th February 2012 and the Speed Skiing World Cup on 25th an 26th February.

Have you ever slept in an igloo 2,300 m high? A stay here includes: Snowcat trip, welcome cocktail, dinner, tea, water, a night-time outing (snowshoes), jacuzzi (20 minutes), a downhill ski run or by chairlift and breakfast. There is also the chance to take a night-time dog sleigh or ski bike run on a close piste.
