Electricity Museum

If you know the country’s museums and you still want more, do not miss a visit to the Electricity Museum!

The Electricity Museum is an initiative of FEDA (Andorran Electric Power) with the goal of making known the characteristics of hydroelectric power through Andorra’s history. The museum is located on the ground floor of the FEDA hydroelectric plant, an Andorran cultural heritage building, listed for its granite architecture and representing the modernization of Andorra. The power plant started operating in 1934 and marks the beginning of electricity for Andorrans. Today, it continues to be the main source of electric energy production in the country.

Follow the guide and discover what electric energy is and how it has evolved historically in Andorra. The museum offers educational workshops where you can experience and learn about the turbines that generate electricity.
